Poverty Point World Heritage Site is a 2.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Monticello, Louisiana that features beautiful wild flowers. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and birding. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Really nice walk through history. Well kept with friendly staff. The artifact museum is especially nice.
