Linear Park Bicycle Path is a 24.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Metairie, Louisiana that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, trail running, birding, and road biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Bicycled this trail for probably 40 yrs and seen it change considerably for the better.Because of its length and flat surface it is a not a strenuous ride but does give you a decent amount of aerobic exercise,while pedaling at a modest pace.

Beautiful views of the southern shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Jefferson Parish. This is a concrete path, and many bikers frequent it. They can be trail bullies, so stay to your right. Let them pass on the left. Also, there are Munzee and Geocaches along the trail at the obvious locations.
