It’s somewhat of loop that connects with other established trails in the area , which can be confusing at times. This trail is not marked and can be overgrown in areas. A good equestrian trail, a decent hiking trail , don’t know if it would be fun on a mountain bike. It did have a couple of great camping spots and water crossings. Once you cross Hwy 112 and the second major creek crossing the trail get sketchy and hard to find at times. I am not 100% sure the gps I followed was the official trail and eventually just road walked back to the trailhead. It was a fun adventure and I wanted to check it off my “La. hiking bucket list”
