CLOSED DUE TO HURRICANE DAMAGE FROM LAURA. Very sad. We loved walking this loop with our small children and there was a small play ground but it appears to all be destroyed. Definitely heavily damaged.

WARNING! Big monster man-eating spiders! Got through one, then another and another... They were everywhere!!! Googled them and husband thinks they are brown widows. Dont go unless you believe spiders should be kept as house pets.

Really loved this trail! What made was reading the history behind the Fullerton area and how it uses to be BOOMING! Then seeing the remaining structures! I loved it!

Nice easy trail before sunset with a 2yo & 5yo. Some cool rock structures. We opted to go around the entire lake instead of looping back on the trail. Blackberries ready for the picking along the water. Saw lots of squirrels. Nice areas to picnic and enjoy. Quick enjoyable hike!

It’s hard to rate this trail, if you want a nice walk, the trails are wide, mostly flat and clear. There’s a tree that has fallen across one part and pulled a huge curtain of thorny vines down with it, a little rough to get over. The Fresh evidence of hogs was unnerving, but I didn’t see any. The ruins of the town are covered with a lot of foliage even in winter. Gorgeous lake and campgrounds, will definitely be camping soon.

Two trails connected together to make a 1.6 mile loop. Old ruins are all along the trail of a sawmill and alcohol plant. The trail itself is beginner friendly and well maintained. Beautiful lake, playground and gazebo are apart of Fullerton Lake.
