University of Kentucky Arboretum Loop is a 2.5 mile loop trail located near Lexington, Kentucky that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips and is best used from March until November.
Trail was good way too many people today, which was to be expected
Although it is a mostly paved path there are plenty of off the way trails that go in wooded areas that were nice and Shady. Plenty of benches if you need to sit for a spell. Several small bridges. There are some houses that back up to the park but it didn't seem to be a problem and they are fenced off. the Children's Garden is closed at this time so we hope to go back when it is open.
Easy walk, you can stick to paved paths or well maintained wood chip paths. Bonus are the tended gardens of the arboretum.
