Great hike to the peak to stand in 3 states at once.

Rocky and gravel. Grandpa struggled and turned around before the top. The 3 state point is cool but not a spectacular destination. Great workout and I enjoyed it. Probably better when less hot and humid 85 degrees. To clarify - many people were confused - it’s 1.1 miles up hill there and another 1.1 miles down hill on the way back.

We started this trail around 10:30 AM and came across very few people. Heavy rains seem to have washed away large portions of the trail, but other wise a great hike to the Tri-Peak Boundary.

This trail was so cool. My sister and I and her 5 month old puppy hiked it and loved it. History!! The Tri-State pavilion is awesome. Don't miss Indian Rock!! This will be revisited!

We started at the Thomas Walker parking area of the National Park. The trail is exceptionally well maintained but it is an uphill trek the entire way out. Beautiful views at the tri state peak

Loved this trail. Can connect with the Cumberland or do a couple side paths.

I did this hike from Thomas Walker parking lot. Follow The Thomas Walker trail about 50 yards to Wilderness Road Trail to the gap then up to Tri-peak. If you go past the pavilion, you can hike to an old civil war fort. I hiked Object Lesson back to parking lot. The recording for this trail actually follows Object Lesson.

Great trail to bring dogs! The trail was wide and although inclined in some areas, was very easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

Historic trails that are well groomed and well traveled. The views are spectacular and being able to stand in three states at the same time is awesome. The trail is almost a continuous gradual climb as the trail sags slowly to the top. Once at the top there are great photo ops. The return trip is gradually downhill and very quick.

Great hike with amazing views at the top! Recommend to take someone with you as it gets a little in the backwoods with hardly any people around.
