This is a good trail for a quick walk or break from sitting in the car. We did it with a trail guide from the Nature Center. She did a great job keeping the kids interested and we walked away with some knowledge about the plants, animals, and history of the area.

There really isn't much to this trail. It's pretty short, but worth the walk, just for the view from the dock out on Honker Lake. The vegetation has taken over there, so there are all kinds of lily pads. In the summer, I'd say bring lots of bug spray. We were infested with seed ticks by the end of the trail. Outside of that, it wasn't a bad trail.
