Refuge Loop Trail is a 2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Benton, Kentucky that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

An easy walking trail with gravel, grass and paved sections. Features a fishing pond and multiple spots for bird watching. A section of the area is closed from November 1 until March 31 and is used as a wildlife sanctuary.

This trail is really nice with options of paths that are all easy. You even have different parts that are paved, gravel and grass. Very well maintained with easy access. We were able to see deer and rabbits while there. We will definitely be going back.
