Getting There

Kayaking This is a great trip from the Paintsville lake spillway to the old water plant in Paintsville. If the water level is extremely low you will run into a few places where you may have to get out of your kayak. There is a 4' wall behind Foothills telephone where you will want to get out and walk around the drop off.

You can park at the spillway area of Paintsville lake.

Great paddle through some beautiful country. There are several trees across. But, they were easy to get around.

To many trees across the creek, had to get out of canoe to many times because of low water or the trees.
