trail is definitely moderate. both ends of the trail are hilly with a small portion being relatively flat at the top. most trails in this park run along ridges so not matter which trail you pick prepare to walk up hill. we came on labor day and it was packed but usually only a couple cars in the parking lot on a normal day. well maintained area.

Dog friendly and very family oriented. Rocky. If you are looking for some peace and quite time in the wild, this may not be the most quite park. It’s family friendly lots of kids when I came, also it is by a school. You can smell the distillery in the air. I used to live in Frankfort and used to love that smell, but some ppl hates it. Not too bad for a week day short hike. Pretty clean and did not see much trash.

Very pretty hike! Once you’re at the top, there is an abundance of flora. Be careful of roots sticking out of the ground. I think this should be rated as “easy.”

Beautiful trail. This whole park is just gorgeous and so peaceful. My kids (9,7, and 4 years old) were able to handle it although there are some pretty rough stone “stairs” that my 4 year old struggled with a little.

Fairly nice trail, we had the dogs with us and the little dog was being a bit of a pain. We plan to go back soon, maybe tomorrow. Nice, mostly shady trails, waterfalls and more. Several other trails in the park, especially if you start at the top lot. One complaint, there was no toilet paper or soap in the restroom.

We all loved it. An easy access spot with lots of hikers to make you feel not so isolated. Kids loved the water and the nicely blazed trails. One section with steep hills and rocky path but was easy even for my 9 year old.

Soggy but good! North end is a pretty quick incline, south end is paved so you can decide whether you want to ease into it or get the hard part out of the way.

Nice easy hike. A bit muddy. Main falls are at carpark, but there are streams along the hike creating a lovely gurgling background sound.

This was a great trail. It was muddy but only because of the recent rain the are has received. I was unaware there were two other trails that connected to this one in which this app didn’t retrieve so it was a jacket surprise. There are a few more smaller waterfalls which was also unexpected. It was an easy hike and recommend it.

Enjoyed this hike. Lots of beauty walking along the creek, waterfalls around and fun things to look at and enjoy. Not a hard hike - a bit of a climb at times but not bad.

love this place. so peaceful and great workout for me. perfect length and test of physical fitness. Would definitely recommend as ive been going for over 10 years now. Beautiful waterfalls and great view if you hike to the top. dog friendly and low traffic. there is a easy paved walking trail at top for those who cannot complete hiking trails and there is seperate rd to this. also easier trails across rd with ponds and creek that is a peaceful quiet setting and has picnic tables.

Great trails at Cove Spring. This trail is easy to moderate. To be enjoyed by the whole family. Also incorporate the Osage trail in your hike, you will really enjoy it, lots of deer in the Early morning and late evening to be seen
