This unofficial trail leads to one of the best overlooks in the area - once you get to the top you can see for miles. This is an out and back trail with a steep scramble to get to the top. There are two main ways up. To take the most popular route up, bear to the left of the rock, a very obvious trail will lead you to the final climb up, this is a steep, 20 foot rock climb, but it has hand holds. The second way, bear to the right. just after you pass the first tower, you will be facing Lockegee Rock. While there are several ways to get up on this side, the easiest way is to follow a large ledge around the side of the cliff and gradually work your way up.

Do not bring small children onto this trail! There is glass EVERYWHERE, and graphic graffiti EVERYWHERE

We are very disappointed. There is so much graffiti and trash in this area. It ruins the beauty. There is so much potential here but it is a wreck. So sad.

Very muddy on the trail. The drive getting to the trail head is on a steep winding one lane road.
