I've done this trail twice and got lost twice. I'd rather not loop and just stay straight on the left path until the end and come back. It's marked clearly.

We woke up to whip- poor -wills in the trees here. This is a fun place to spend a long weekend in the woods.

Nice trail, but when I went to look at cabin, I kept going and ended up on Rt. 2. I missed a turn somewhere. And yes, it's over grown near cabin only.

Nice trail and scenery. Little to no poison ivy. Trails are well marked.

The trail was really over grown. The worst part was my wife, my 2 children, my nephew and I were covered in seed ticks. Hundreds of them covered us from head to toe. The being out in nature part was great but we will not be doing this trail again unfortunately.

I was worried by the reviews talking about how poorly maintained this trail is, but RIGHT NOW, it's in great shape. Really nice trail. I suggest you hike it soon in case it becomes overgrown again. I disagree that it's "kid friendly." Some spots are kind of rough. In fact, you could argue this is more of a lower end "moderate" trail than an "easy" one. I REALLY liked it though!

With a little trail maintenance this would be a nice trail.

Nice trail, scenic but has some problems mostly due to some pipeline (?) installation or repair without suitable repairs to the trails.

Severely overgrown and under maintained. The trail is very hard to follow and is poorly marked. Has potential to be a nice trail with some TLC but until it receives some I can't rate it very high.

The small foot bridges are in disrepair and rotting. The trail is very difficult to follow in places.

Pretty decent trail. Not sure the length is accurate. I did the entire loop plus the extra ridge and clocked it at about 2 miles. Might have missed something because the markers are hard to see/follow.
