The first section of this trail is steep but afterwards, it's nice and easy

Short trail that was beautiful and a lot of fun! I don’t agree with it being called easy. Chimney top rock trail is easy. This one is not as easy. Not a lot of people on the trail was most appealing to us. Would recommend!

Absolutely beautiful trail but should not be labeled as easy

Short, but beautiful trail. You enjoy plenty of greenery and the trickling creek before you get to a cool sinkhole that you can climb down into. Another one that could be nice for young families.

Very nice short trail for my parents (who are in their late 50s) and I right off of the camp ground! The cave/arch at the end was pretty cool. Note that it was muddy and the stairs into the cave were more uneven than they appeared from the top. Took me a little off guard so just watch you step!

This trail as ok, but not easy. We were with our kids all under 7. We have hiked moderate trails with them and they needed no assistance, however they all struggled to get up the first 1/4 mile. It was very steep, very washed out and slippery. Once over the first section it was nice and easy and we stopped and turned around at the small water feature where the stairs go into the sinkhole which was neat to see. Enjoyable trail just wouldn’t rate as easy.

My review is for those with mobility issues. My husband has left hemiparesis and is quite strong on the right side. Although the trail started off well for us, it was wide and level, we ran into trouble about 100 yards in with a large limestone rock to get over and a steep incline for the next 100 feet or so. The rock posed a problem for us because of the need for a stable place to put his walking stick, it was damp and slick, and the incline was going to pose a problem for the descent. The trail was no doubt gorgeous, just not able to be accessed by us. We had better luck with the Whittleton Branch Trail which was close by. We still enjoyed a nice stroll through the campground, which is where the trailhead is located.

Quite steep at times but well worth it. The tree growing up through the opening was a great surprise!
