Harrod's Creek Trail is a 2.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Prospect, Kentucky that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
nice walk along the creek. Easy to add on extra distance with red and green trails.
A casual walk with some wooden bridges and a view here and there of Harrod’s Creek. All dirt paths. Nice swings in a few spots to sit and view.
Trail is very muddy. No flowing water. Behind a neighborhood but does feel like you are in nature.
Wonderful hike!! Early to follow trails that were well marked even had trail maps(you are here!). Will do this trail system again!!!
Nice trails overall. I preferred the green and red trail over the blue and orange.
Nice little hike. Perfect temp tonight. Saw a bit of the sunset. Nice views of the creek itself, walking alongside.
A very nice park, the trails are easy and very well-maintained and there's some good scenery despite being pretty close to houses for the whole hike. Lots of deer! You can add the green and red trails to extend the hike a bit with slightly more difficult terrain, but they're still pretty easy. The other hikers were more inconsiderate than any other park I've hiked in Louisville, with people loudly listening to the radio on their phone without headphones and large groups of hikers passing people without masks. You may want to aim for a less busy time to avoid dealing with Prospect folks.
Fantastic with lots of benches with pretty views. Nice length for anyone really. Only one big hill on orange. Nicely maintained.
