A decent hiking trail but not ideal for a run. One bridge is busted and at a 45 degree angle and parts of the trail along the back of the lake are blocked by fallen trees. Took about 34 minutes to complete at jog pace.

Wow! This trail is the most challenging one we have hiked so far! A good workout for sure ! Quite a obstacle course further in! If you like a challenge this trail is for you! Would hike it again.

This is an awesome hike, plenty of gorgeous vistas to periodically reward your efforts. One thing to beware of, this isn't your grandmother's hike. There is one point near the second bend (about halfway through) that requires rock climbing (only about 6 or 7 feet high, however). If that doesn't deter you, this trail is a perfect mid-day adventure for the tenatious hiker.

Went hiking with a friend and our dogs, yesterday The trail was beautiful however it's not kept up well at all. We went in the evening and since it was marked 2.8 miles we thought we'd finish the loop before dark. That trail has to be way longer than 2.8 miles for one and two, after getting an hour into the trail it was washed out so bad we couldn't get any further without calling the police for a rescue because it got so late. I don't recommend trying to do the whole loop especially in the evening.

Part of the trail was extremely washed out and muddy. It was also difficult to keep track of the trail at one point and we ended up slightly lost. Otherwise a nice spot.

Great for a walker's workout. Not much to look at other than the lake. I don't recommend bringing small children on the trails but the park area is a great place for a picnic.
