Follows the shoreline of Cave Run Lake, the Buckskin Trail provides a route between Zilpo Recreation Area and the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail, connecting with the interior loops of trails within the Pioneer Weapons Wildlife Management Area. Trailhead parking near Zilpo Campground.

Recent maintenance work on the trail by the USFS has made a big improvement.

horrible. Just a reallly bad walk along beach. the beach is covered in dead trees. You have to constantly step over them. also see trash that people left behind. horrible trail

Did about 3 miles of it. Very overgrown and dirty. Poorly maintained. Wouldn't recommend
