HikingGreat!

My boyfriend and I love to hike with the dog and this was a little challenging for us. We are 51 and we loved it. Not crowded at all. Pleasantly surprised!

Nice trail. A bit busy considering social distancing, though.

One of our favorite trails. Has some nice challenging hills for a 68 and 69 year old. Senior citizens, take a walking stick. it helps with the hills. Have fun!

We are not expert hikers by any means and this trail was fairly challenging for us. Some steep inclines, narrow, muddy parts, and rocky sections, but overall a good challenge. Majority of the trail was shaded which was very helpful on a hot, humid day.

Had a good time hiking with the family, youngest is 6 and he hung in there. Little rocky and hilly take your time and should have no worries. Part of trail was closed for maintenance 4/22/20 but just went the other way no problems

It’s a good trail, and other normal conditions would have enjoyed more. First part of the trail shares a path to the Bison. They are fun to see, but adds a great deal of foot traffic. The rest of the trail is much less traveled and nicer. However, it is really washed out. Places over my hiking boot deep in mud kind of impact. If has rained within 72 hours, hold off. If dry, you will have a good hike

I think this would be an awesome trail when it’s warmer and a bit more consistently sunny to dry it out. It was exceptionally muddy for about 75.% I walked on the edges of the trail almost the whole time. Slipped and fell once. Very slow going. That being said, because there weren’t a lot of leaves on the trail to make noise, the wildlife were out in full force. Saw some white-tailed deer, a juicy opossum, and tons of squirrels and birds. I’ll go back because I think it had a lot of potential. Just bring some shoes you’re okay getting muddy and maybe a walking stick.

Not bad at all. I usually jump in the creek with my dog and walk up the creek. Many interesting facts throughout the park. Trails are kept well and benches available.

Trail was muddy to the point that several parts weren’t even fun to go through. The hike is through the back woods so there aren’t too many photogenic, scenic areas to view.

We took this loop from the campground. Rocky, rooty & slippery (it had just rained). It goes right by the buffalo pen, so you can get a look at them. You can also stop in at the visitor center. Very interesting. Take the trail back to the campground for the loop.
