Apparently this is a nice paddle sports route on the Barren River between the Tailwater Campground and Highway 101 near Smiths Grove. There is no hiking trail. There's a boat ramp on the upstream campground side with good parking nearby. There doesn't appear to be any safe place to park on the Hwy 101 side downriver.

No clear trail head; once we found the trail head, ended into a small lake after 25 yards; no indication as to where the trail picks up. Poor original directions. Wasted time driving out here!!!!!
