My family's first KY hike. So beautiful! We took the Old Stage Rd. trail and climbed to see the cave. Walking back up was a great workout for all of us.

Great trail! It was a little muddy due to all the rain we have had lately. The falls were going good! Our Dogs even enjoyed the trails! So glad we found this!

Easy in and out trail. Saw nobody on the trail. It is mildly muddy in spots Finnegan the dog and I made the end without issue. Even went up the side trail to the cave.

So, I was out immediately after rain, and it was cold. Expectedly slick along Old Stage Road, but I went slowly and had no issues. The awesome parts were the waterfalls flowing along Great Wall Trail in several spots. The side trip to the cave was the most treacherous spot due to muddy slickness, and I decided not to go the whole way over. Ended the Great Wall Trail a little early and headed back. All in all, I’ll take a little mud in exchange for gorgeous falls that you can get right up to.

This little gem of a trail is worth the drive. The waterfalls are amazing! The rocks at the falls are slipper so watch out.

This was a beautiful trail but a bit slippery/muddy. Mostly because the rain yesterday so it was to be expected. However, rain meant the falls were even more active and impressive. The incline coming back in was a little rough simply because of the slickness mixed with the incline. Also the end of the trails were not marked but the trail kept going, keep this in mind to avoid going further than you want. All in all, I recommend this trail if you’re looking for a short getaway.

Nice trail. Great waterfalls down by the river are the highlight. Nice cardio coming back up to parking lot. Walking stick good for trails by waterfalls and the cave. Bit slippery when wet and with leaves - sizable drops at peaks of these trails.

The view of the Great Wall trail is stunning! But not easy to walk and not for small kids.

Trail has awesome potential if hiking after heavy rain. Although it was completely dry while we were there, you could see were all the waterfalls could be. I also recommend crossing the bridge at the bottom of hill to get to. the river bank
