Wyco Lake Bridle Trail is a 7.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Kansas City, Kansas that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I absolutely loved this trail! There’s a variety of trail conditions, 3 foot bridges, and a crumbling limestone structure of some kind. Follow the yellow blazes. Lots of bike traffic, a few runners and I was the lone hiker. I began at the Spillway (beautiful views...think Ozarks) and the trail exits at a shelter with facilities. You can stop here, or turnaround as I did, to get the entire 7.8.
