Very casual trail, paved all the way back and forth. Good trail for Dogs and young children. If you want to do some fishing during the trail there are plenty of spots you go off some side trails to do so. Plus a campground at the end of the trail also.

Very nice light walk this morning! Completely paved, encountered walkers with dogs and very courteous bike riders. I do not consider it an actual home, because like I mentioned it’s completely paved. The river runs beside it, and there’s access points to fish. There is camping available at one end of the trail. It would be nice to even get a camping spot for the day to picnic and visit. Parking is on the road at the opposite end, and country traffic was pretty frequent on that road. I plan to bring my family next time!

Frequent people with dogs, bikes and strolling. Paved the entire way. Not quite what I love (prefer woods), but good for what it is.

Cement walk that is nice and level. Very flat walked about half way, to where the bend is, from the fishing area. Not too scenic. Trees obstruct view of the water. Bathrooms by the fishing area were disgusting. We were mostly in the shade in the afternoon. Trees on the water side. Wide open field on the other side of the trail.

My husband and I hiked this on April 2. It was about 30* out, but the humidity made it feel so much colder! This was a nice, flat walk that with nothing too remarkable to look at except for the dam. Everything was drab and brown when we were there but I imagine it's more pleasant-looking at other times of the year.

Nice trail with limited views

Nothing special, but it is a nice dry walk along the Blue River. Lots of fisherman below the dam. Only a couple other walkers on the trail. Good sized parking area; follow signs from Rt. 24 (Tuttle Creek Blvd) to Rocky Ford Fishing Area. The parking area is at about the mid-point of this out and back trail, so I walked first one way and circled the loop roads of the Rocky Ford Campground, back to the parking area, and then the other way to the road and back, making about a 3-1/2 mile track. Could perhaps use the lightly used gravel roads to create a loop hike of, perhaps, five miles.
