West Trail is a 2.9 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Overland Park, Kansas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Part of the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. It's very well maintained and sometimes a little crowded but not so much so that you're tripping over others. There’s a $3 fee to get into the park for the trail.

Nice mix of sun and shade...saw a deer in the prairie area! Might wear bug repellent next time.

Part of OP Arboretum, so we walked this along with most of the other trails out there. Well-maintained and and near meadows a couple of times. One portion isn't mulched, so watch your maps closely.

Nice trail that's part of the Overland Park, KS arboretum. Combine with other trails for a total of 5 miles hike.
