From Humboldt to Iola is flat crushed limestone in great condition. Met a couple doing volunteer work on the trail and they directed me to the Lehigh Portland Trails around an old quarry outside of town (Iola) that is now a lake with similar limestone paths and single track weaving in and out along the way. This was an unexpected treat and I'll definitely go back to explore more of that area.

This is an excellent rail-trail with a hard-packed crushed limestone surface. It connects the Prairie Spirit Trail with the Lehigh Portland Rail Trail. It is very well-maintained.
