This really isn't a trail; just a short loop. Some good history here, and the view from the top is fun, but nothing fantastic.

Pawnee Rock is a landmark on the Santa Fe trail because of its prominence in the landscape. Nice place for a lunch stop, read some history of the Santa Fe, and get great views of the plains.
