My first trail. Don't have other off road trails experience but this was really great for me to get experience from. Didn't see trash but I saw glass ( picked up the most of it). I think it's a good beginners trail.

The trail isn’t maintained. There’s ton of garbage and broken glass. Parts of the trails are washed out and the stairs are broken.

Rozarks trails are now unmaintained and discontinuous due to construction. Dont waste your time

The trail has construction near by that ends the trail about 3 quarters in. You willing to turn around and go back and that the end of the hike.

Great trail to get away from downtown KC for a nice walk. Unfortunately construction has wiped out the last loop of the trail.

Trail had lots of debris and is very poorly marked. It’s a nice trail for being in the middle of the city, but definitely won’t be back. Also, there was construction blocking the back quarter of the trail.

Any day on a trail is a 5 star day. These trails are fantastic if you like the grit and city trail ambiance, views and city sounds unseen while being on the trail and at times blazing that come with it. If you are looking for a path these may not be for you.

Trails are fun. Rode Marty's trail and gnome run all the way through. Would help if the trails were more noticeably marked, it can get confusing at times.

Does anyone know if it is safe to hike alone?

Nice beginner/intermediate trails. Like others have said, there are more trails than the map shows.

Even though it's very close to civilization, it's easy to pretend you're in the country. It's steep in places which makes it just enough of a challenge to make a nice day hike.

A lot more to this trail than is shown here. We hiked 4+ miles total with the mission cliff trail.

Mapped as a short hike, but there are many other intersecting trails the day we hiked we ended up taking two other trails and made a 4 mile hike out of it. Would definitely hike again, However will also make sure that I wear my bug spray.

The trail was fairly short and challenging. I had to walk some sections due to the sheer incline(I'm very amateur). The trail had some awkward angles of the path itself where tire slippage was almost inevitable. However, the brush was clear of the path and its in a great place for out of towners staying in downtown KC. All in all, fun ride.

We hiked this trail and it was pretty challenging, but so much fun. We came to hiking dead ends a couple times and had to back track, but not if you are in a mountain bike. This is an awesome mountain bike trail and right in the middle of the city...a hidden treasure for sure.
