More water crossings than expected but it was dry. Beautiful trail. Saw a buck. 2 horses. Plenty of wildlife.

Wear pants! I am still new to hiking and just learned this. I left this trail with ankles covered in chiggers! Also doesn't seem to be traveled a lot, had to watch for spider webs all over the trails. Still had a good time though. edit: They weren't chiggers.. they were ticks! I had never seen them so small before.

Wonderful trails to get lost on. Nicely kept and hardly any traffic. Wear your sunscreen

watch for snakes and watch your step, there are a few areas that are easy to trip. too short a trail for me.

Beautiful area in the spring, quiet and serene the further down the bike path you get. Nice paved paths for biking and also lots of little hidden trails along the way. Lots of people near the water but trails were all to myself.

My first time out here today was amazing! It was a hiking trip and I only passed one person in the past hour or so right before sunset on one of the first warm days of the spring. Great mixture of paved and single path trails. Can’t wait to bring my bike and kids out here to explore the rest!!

This was a FUN trail. It was more like 3.5 miles total, from the parking lot to the paved trail, to the hiking trail, and on the paved trail back to the parking lot. There is a lovely little stream that you cross 5-6 times (it would be difficult to cross if it had just rained). Lots of rocks, cliffs, a shallow cave, interesting trees, deer tracks, and birds. Hiked with our 3 and 6 year olds and it was hard at times (rocky), but they finished and enjoyed it overall! We will be back!

Gave it a 4 due to the paved part. Not a big fan of pavement. If you like pavement it’s about 1/3 paved. Natural part was nice with all the fall colors.

Pretty boring trails and park. I never did find an actual trail, just some asphalt paths that were very exposed to the sun almost 100% of the time.

Nice trail that just about anyone can complete. A little boring at times, but some very pretty scenery as well. The stream way crossings are nice.

Great looping trail through forest, prairie and water ways. Muddy after rain.

This trail was moderately demanding as far as the rocky terrain and such, also got to cross a beautiful stream. Really fun!!
