Very nice walking trail with a lot of history along the way. Stopped at the blacksmith's shop and the park volunteer made a chain link for my son as we watched. Great people to interact with at this location

Great place to go see. Make sure you visit when a re-enactment is taking place.

My son and I did this walk in early October 2015. The weather was great. The walking trail was in great shape, and goes around the post's existing buildings. Great view of the fields.

The site and the walk itself are well worth the time invested.
