Please note that after rains this area may be flooded and closed. Please check with the Hartman Reserve Nature Center for more information. Short flat trail around the edge of Shirey Lake located in Hartman Reserve. The trail is shown as a full loop online, but the north side is really just a beach and a distinct trail fades away into a wide unmarked sandy area. For that reason and a large down tree it is typically hiked as a point to point to point or out and back trail. On the east side of the lake you can take a slight turn off of Shirey trail onto Osprey trail you can view the hacking tower used to raise Osprey hatchlings.

This trail was probably nice at once point but it has flooded too many times. It was rough, to say the least.
