Floyd River Trail is a 6.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Sioux City, Iowa that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The Floyd River Trail spans 4.2 miles, beginning at the intersection of Floyd Blvd. and Chris Larsen Park Drive and continuing along the Floyd River Channel north to Leeds. The Floyd Trail is a great place to bike or jog, and is used for local running events throughout the spring, summer and fall.

This was a nice 4-mile bike ride. I started at Leeds and followed the Floyd River Channel south. It's good for biking, walking, or jogging. There are a couple of intersections with streets that you have to be careful with, but it's a fine trail.
