Beautiful trail. Would have been 5 stars if it was marked better with signs, etc.

Perfect weather and no loose dogs today.

Great trail! Scenery was nice with winding paths, bridges, rock formations and the large body of water visible throughout most of the trail. Looking forward to hiking this trail again! Great trail for Hawkeyes to visit when they need a few hours of relaxation!

One of the best trails for trail running with a canine companion - trails are wide enough for both of us and we love the trees and lookout points over the water. So pretty!

Loved the rolling hills and dense forest. Nice unpaved trails for hiking and well marked. Loved the views of the lake from bluffs above. Close to Iowa City. Will definitely come back when in town next.

Nice pet friendly trail. Plenty of tree cover most of the way. Can be a busy trail.

It's a really good trail that I would do again very soon. Easy

Well maintained trail system. Easy to find and parking for about 15 cars. Some elevation change but not difficult at all. Beautiful views of the river.

Great little loop through the forest and along the lake. Can be busy during warm and holiday weekends. Great for a quick hike if you live in the area

Very pretty view of the lake and some fun locations to do a little climbing.

After my first time, I will be back! Peaceful and under crowded. There is plenty of trail to walk a different route and discover new things each trip. Very satisfied.

First time I have been to this park. I will be coming back. Great place to hike, bring a lunch and eat at one of the benches. Very peaceful. Also found a great place on the trail to get down to the water and take a swim. Enjoy.

In my opinion, trails were a bit confusing but marked clearly. Very pretty, fair share of small hills. Clean, nice area.

Nice trail. Missed a turn and cut about a mile off of the distance. Most of the trail was very well marked.

Good trail overall. Nice hills and the trail itself is easy to run on but still hard enough to make it fun to watch your feet if you're moving at a good clip. It is short for die hard runner though.

Excellent trail! Very well marked, lots of scenic opportunities including views of the lake, bridges and waterfalls (small but still. ..) as well as wildlife. During my hike there were several different birds, squirrels, deer and even bald eagles! Don't miss this trail if you live in the area!

Very easy hike, not too many hills. Beautiful scenery and views of the river. I'd recommend hiking this in the fall or spring!

This trail was very enjoyable. There were some steep and rolling hills, a nice view of Coral Lake and trail was well marked.

Great place to get out and do some activities. This trail has built in activities areas for bonus workouts. there are a couple of foot bridges in place to allow for more access without having to muck around in the mud. Awesome place when the trees are turning. You have a few options for the mental breaks by sitting on trail benches overlooking Coralville Reservoir. Access this from either the Linder Point campground near the Dam or just south of North Liberty at the Squire Point trail head off Dubuque Street.

Its a nice little hike if you live in the area. You don't see much nature habitat other than a stray turkey (gobble, gobble) every now and then. If you live in Iowa City the bike trail will get close enough and its a fun ride.

It was a nice hike. Pretty scenery along the lake. Couple of areas had potential waterfalls with the correct amount of rain or spring melt. Very wide paths on most of the trails. Lots of wildlife if you take the time to look. Saw deer, an perched owl and a paper hornet nest in action.

I love the Coralville reservoir and if you are like me you will also! There is a whole days worth of activities here if you like the outdoors! I used to come here as a kid all the time, recently came back and the fossil gorge is not as good as it used to be, a lot of the fossils were washed away in the floods a few years back but still plenty of history and interesting things to see! When my girlfriend and I were there it wasn't too busy, a few families with children and a few people fishing along the trails but all together a peaceful day. While we were there, there was a bunch of kids at the start of the fossil gorge laughing/screaming having a good time and kept looking at the ground so we went up to see what was going on and there was literally hundreds of baby frogs jumping all of the place, very fun to interact with nature although my girlfriend didn't find it quite as interesting as I did during that part HAHA.

I loved this trail for this area of northeast Iowa. If offers a variety of trail lengths and intensities for all hiking skill levels. The trails are woven in and out of the hills and crevices all around the Lake reservoir.

This will be on my must return list once the temps are out of the 90's. It very much reminds me of trails I have completed in southern Missouri in terms of terrain and difficulty. It is definately a great trainning trail for trail runners. The only downside I experienced were the obnoxious boaters screaming to each other and the petrified squirrel my dog tried to take home..otherwise this trail rocks!
