Cedar Bend Park & Trail Systems, Waverly Iowa. is a 2.1 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Waverly, Iowa that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Very nice traiheads for the beginner or disabled hiker. Nice 4-8 foot wide beginner trail systems that is mowed and cleared so even people with disabilities can hike or trek their wheelchairs themselves. Some railroad tie stairs are available with side trails on the steeper hills. Horse riding is welcomed, but must trek beside and not over the trail pedestrian bridges.
Great place for a snowshoe hike.
Nice easy hike for beginning treks. Trails are well maintained, clearly marked, mowed to about 3-8 feet wide and cleared of debris and branches. Sign post as you walk educate the public on tree speicies and nice to know information. Benches for those in need of a sit-down are strategically placed just so for a rest.
