Great until it came time to cross the creek. Without the proper boots, your feet WILL get wet. We were ill prepared. Plus, much of the trail is grassy, so another reason for water-proofed footwear. Otherwise, this is a really nice trail. Next time we'll be prepared.

Utilizing multiple trails and some retrace a good woodland meander can be followed over mostly groomed trails with a few short hills and one rock-hop creek crossing. Solitude on the trails is pleasant, though traffic noises from nearby county roads sometimes overrides the birdsong and creek babbling.

One of my favorite places to go due to it’s location and usually you have the whole place to yourself. Ticks get pretty bad though in this area when in season, so make sure and check yourself and your pets!

Muddy

Great trail for a quick romp. Some of the trail markings are a little confusing, easy to find your way again even if you get turned around though. Some spots are muddy with it possibly being ankle deep. Had a 5 year old and a 22 week pregnant wife so nothing was too bad as long as you take your time. The creek was nice with one bridge crossing and one stepping stones crossing. One person mentioned the mud wall at the creek crossing and it is fairly steep if you have a pack on. The trail is a nice loop couple places are a little unmarked. There is a down tree blocking the path not hard to make it through. The river has washed some markings for the trail away but once you cross it's not hard to find the trail again.

Short trail but tons of wildlife. There is a family of 3 bald eagles that inhabit the area. A mother and two yearlings. Amazing to see these graceful giants so close to home. My partner, Samwise, loves this trail because it's easy to hike and carry a backpack to practice for longer hikes. If you make it to the dump, it kinda reminds me of Mount Doom. Anyway, gotta get back to finishing my book. Frodo Baggins

I have been coming here for years. It is a short easy trail, good for just getting out and taking a stroll. The water crossings are a good practice to keep you on your toes and keep your dexterity up. Great spot.

A water crossing with little kids made us have to turn around part way. Besides that the trail was an easy walk.

A nice, short distance loop. Can get muddy when it rains.
