Western portion of trail is overgrown, making it difficult to follow trail in spots. Muddy portions of trail is due to rain runoff on hilly portion of trail. There are several small streams that cross trail. Have to wade across Templeton Creek. There are concrete pillars in place for crossing creek. Several of them have been washed away. Your feet will get wet. Spotted various type of wildlife, frogs, turtles, rabbits and of course squirrels. There is also a nice stand of pine trees that give the trail a kind of magical feeling.
