I find this trail not very challenging nor enjoyable. However, there is not much hiking in this part of the state without driving an hour to get to the bloomington area.

my fiancee and I went on the trail in the morning in the middle of summer. it is well shaded and very few people were visible before the pool opened. lots of spider webs crossed the path. take a stick to prevent walking into one. you won't be able to avoid them. they have clean facilities also.
