The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Great little trail(s). Beautiful trees as aforementioned. Can be slightly boggy in areas so I do recommend bug spray.

Awesome massive trees on the old growth loop—park like forest that are all but gone from the Midwest landscape. The other loop is good, not great, because of the swampy areas and totally different plant life. Love this little gem.
