About 80/20 field/forest mix with wide mowed path in field sections. More narrow and cluttered through the forest, but nothing difficult. Elevations have gentle slopes and forgiving surfaces. Route follows a pointlessly meandering route, obvious that the designers were cramming as much distance into a small area as possible. You see the same stuff over and over and that stuff isn’t super interesting. Saw several white-tailed deer near the trail, with lots of evidence of their occupancy. Had a close encounter with a pair of migrating Sandhill Cranes sharing the trail. Good for a leg-stretcher, or burning off the kiddos’ energy, but not much else.
