The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

It’s a pretty overgrown, narrow trail. I would definitely recommend wearing long pants. By the middle of the hike, my legs were on fire from what I assumed were stinging nettles. There weren’t very good lake views, except for the one off-shoot to the lake.

This was an excellent trail to fit in after work. Very narrow so no side by side walking with your dog. The view of the lake is beautiful.
