nice shady hike around the lake. some stairs but not a lot at any given time. I wanted to hike a little longer so i added part of the trail on he far side of the lake. There was a heron on the lake and some turtles.

Hiked on a Wednesday with my dog and it was a prefect little 3 miler. The lake is beautiful and my dog enjoyed the swim to cool off. Many people around the lake as to be expected but not many on trails.

My kids and I very much enjoyed this trail. We started at Trail 4 and then walked trail 7. It was shaded for most of the hike. There were many spots around the lake where you could picnic or fish. There wasn't too much traffic on a Wednesday.

Nice loop around Ogle Lake. Nice views and places to stop to observe nature; look at fish in water, search for frogs, etc.

Easy trail with a few stairs scattered throughout. Can be a little muddy in spots, but not bad. Be sure to catch lots of turtles basking in the sun on a nice day

Very muddy after snow melted - wear hiking boots or avoid after any rain/melting snow. Pretty views though and good for people of all ages!

Trail is not well kept. Many spots eroding, exposing more tree roots and creating large drop-offs at bottoms of steps. South side of the lake has stairway with 3 bottom steps broken and another stairway with a loose railing. I will report the issues with the steps to the park tomorrow, but this is still not a great trail IMO. It has had too much traffic and not enough upkeep.

Easy trail, well marked. There are steps where it is really steep. Are some areas that have a lot of tree roots so need to watch your footing.

Great little hike. Trail is under construction 1/2 way round the lake, but very manageable unless monsoon season. All good for 2 legged and 4 legged outdoor enthusiasts.

Hiked this trail over from the campgrounds with the dogs. The trail is shady and very easy. The dogs had a few places that met right to the water where they could jump in and cool off. Around the trail head by the parking lot it was very busy. Definitely a worthwhile afternoon stroll if you're camping in the area.
