Great, easy to access trail. It’s an easy trail, but for more challenge you can park near the Armory and hike the connecting trail through the woods which is steep with excellent scenery (it can be muddy at times). For the most plentiful parking, park just south of the traffic circle at Williams Blvd & Lincoln Ave where there is well-marked free parking (>30 parking spaces).

We walked part of the trail starting at the Williams end and doubled back. The trail is in good condition and would be good for bikes. It's a really straight and gradual incline with farm fields on both sides. Not the best scenery in the winter, but still nice change of pace.

Good trail for all ages. Well maintained and relatively low elevation gain. My 8 year old was able to ride out and back with a few breaks and some encouragement. Truly great to take kids on a half-day ride.

Nice, flat hike from Bedford to Williams. Entire trail is well-packed small-size gravel (not large like a gravel road). Lots of limestone "rock cuts" that the old railroad passed through. Trail parallels the White River for a distance, and also borders the backsides of lots of country farms once you are west of Coxton Road -- lots of scenic pastures not visible from paved roads. Saw two bedded deer trying to beat the heat.

Although not paved it is a well maintained small gravel with a good bed that makes bicycling easy. Very nice trail through some interesting rock formations along the White River and Salt creek. Shaded nicely. Well worth a trip here to do.

Excellent trail and beautiful scenery and wildlife. Should rename it the "Chipmunk Trail" as they are every where. Parking at the trailhead is weird as it is an old mechanic shop.

Great trail to walk and relax. Hiked this morning (February 2nd) and didn't see a soul until close to the trailhead in Bedford. Great work by all the volunteers to make it so nice.

Gravel trail, many bridges to cross. Great views along the way.

Enjoyable trail. We like parking by the armory and taking the connector trail down the hill to the trail which adds a degree of difficulty.

Detoured off the trail to explore “stack rock”. Always have a good time there!

Built along the Milwaukee railway. A lot of work has been done. Stone benches every half mile. Bridges over streams. Very flat, great views of the White River and Salt Creek. Best bike trail in the area in my opinion.
