This is a loop trail that extends along the lake, through woods and open fields. There is a geocache on this trail if interested in hiking and caching. This is one of the five hiking trails at the park. It crosses the bridle trail in a couple of places, goes along the lake, crosses the road, passes by the Naturalist cabin and through several portions of wooded areas. There is a geocache along this trail for those interested in hiking and caching.

We hiked this trail last fall. We liked that it showed a lot of the park as it is one of the central most trails.
