I love finding hidden treasures around Indiana and this is one of them. Although it was muddy and the rivers overflowing it had such great potential to have a great long hike or run once everything dries out.

I have been going to the park since it first opened and it iswonderful! Beautiful trails and so much to see! The nature center is very informative and usually has many activities on the weekends! They have a prairie maze in the Fall and it’s a lot of fun! My favorite sight to see is all of the wildflowers!

One of the best parks I've been to in central Indiana. Beautiful natural Indiana habitat from grass praries with a variety of wildflowers to soft rolling hills with forest and a creek. A very clean and well maintained park with good trail markings and cute trail names. The historic bridge is a delight and gives overlook views of the creek and trails below. I stood on the bridge for some time just overlooking the water. Plenty of swallowtail butterflies and wildflowers on Fox trail. 3 picnic tables on Overlook trail in shaded spots with views of the creek valley. The drive into the park area is through gorgeous hilly farm land reminiscent of southern Indiana. A much needed break from the flat land in central Indiana.

Great asset to Hendricks County. Rarely busy. Trails aren’t very lengthy but you can do a few of them and get a little more distance in. My dog loves playing in the creek.

Easy trail some light up and downs across the bridge. I was the only one out there. Very quiet and peaceful. seem like a great place to spot deer and turkey, and Morels in the spring.

I enjoy this park. It doesn't get a lot of traffic. Lots of hiking trails you can string together.

This is a great park. Best kept secret in Hendricks county. Variety of wooded and prairie trails, many that follow the beautiful Big Walnut Creek.

McCloud is Hendricks County's best nature park. There are approximately 6 miles of trails through forest and prairie. There are also regular programs here for the family.
