I completed this trail as part of a 16 mile circuit combined with three lakes and rock shelter. Good trail, well blazed, easy to follow, would be very difficult to get lost. Was pretty muddy the day I was there, after snowmelt melt Not much to see on this trail in the winter; however, early spring, fall would probably be ideal

the trail mostly follows the road for the entire length. The southwest section is the only part that moves away from the road and goes down into a ravine. There are a couple of stream Crossings. These are in the area down in the ravine. Overall a good hike.

Nice hike for beginners with kids. We took our 8 yr old and 3 yr old. At about the halfway point you have to cross a road. We went clockwise after you cross the road there's a little access road and a sign to get back on the trail.

Nice walk during a fuller moon. There is a paved pathway that runs along the first half the trail.

WalkingGreat!

Comfortable hike/walk a bit of nice scenes going on in the woods. Trail never gets to far from the road but a nice hike for after work if your just looking for some whole time walking.

It was an easy hike. Lots of beautiful old trees . The only downside to that is a lot of tree roots on certain parts of the trail, which paired with slippery leaves makes it a slower journey. Not wanting to break an ankle, I relied on my hiking pole! Only encountered a total of 8 people which was great.

It was an ok trail - follows along the road and another paved trail for awhile. A quick hike even in the dark.

Actually followed the trail this time . There are some really nice scenic parts during the first half and there were less bugs than the trip I took last week

Nice hike! Muddy but the day after a storm so that’s expected. Not super scenic but beautiful forest. One downside was trail maintenance with a tractor happening parallel to my hike for quite some time which made it a little less peaceful! Good short hike overall.

We started on the original trail but then took several detours. We loved the trail and it was pretty easy the only negatives were the amount of wasp we saw towards the beginning

Easy hike mostly on the ridge top. West leg little more scenic than the east leg. Great for a quick 5k trail run or hike with the kids.

Moderate/easy trail. Paved bike/hiking runs nearby for half of the trail. picked up trail map at office, Very hard to read. Had all elevations marked and you could tell what was road and what was trail.

Good trail, some traffic but nothing that was obtrusive Good sights of deep ridges and wildflowers, with some small creek crossings would go back as a lot of other trails that link up. Has very nice paved running/bike path close that ran parallel with trail for some of the time. This interested us as we would like to camp there once campgrounds open again. Did loop w/ 2 kids 5 and under, 1 road in backpack 3/4 or time.
