Two sections of trail, both are loops. You have the front side and the dark side. All trails have narrow paths made for mountain biking. There are also a lot of wood obstacles throughout the woods made for more extreme mountain biking. It's very pretty and follows a river throughout.

Ok little hike. Good for younger kids/family hike. Muddy in patches due to all the rain we’ve been getting lately.

Messy, easy trails. After hiking out west for 10 days, these trails leave much to be desired. Not a lot of scenery to look at.

First time being there today and will be returning. The trails were great. We walked 8 miles total. The only thing I would suggest put more trail signs. There’s so many trails there that it does get a little confusing at times. One more thing, on the maps put a star where the location of the map is at. Again will be going back. Plus I’m a photographer, but I didn’t do pix today. I will when going back. I seen so many great shots to get. Definitely a 5 star place. I seen people mentioned flooding, but the park signs did say the trails were closed because of being wet. You just had to avoid those areas. Make sense since it did rain a lot.

Bring your boots! Lots of flooding; we had to turn back barely a quarter mile into the trail. Looking forward to coming back in drier times!

You can get off the hiking trail every so often but your still on the bike trail. A nice place to take your dog.

It's better for mountain biking than hiking. Confusing to follow at times

Decided to tackle the Darkside loop thinking "how hard can it be", and it was a great workout. Even though the track is designed for bikes, I would absolutely recommend hiking here for a quick day escape. Lots of twists, turns, changes in elevation and even a little wildlife. I couldn't believe that this place was right in my backyard. Looking forward to revisiting and exploring some more.

Rode the Front Loop this morning. Great beginner trail for mountain biking. Packed dirt, sand and boardwalk with some roots for interest. Good place to learn with some options to make it more difficult as desired. Take a picture of the map or use the AllTrails recording to keep yourself on the right trail.

We did a hike here. Trails are confusin to follow. This was fine though because they all seem to loop back. I think this would be more fun on a bike. I am from Seattle and normally hike in the mountians, so may have had too high expectations. there just wasn't much to see and mosquitoes were really bad by the water.

I live in Michigan City and there's no good mountain biking trails there, but this is well worth the 25 minute drive. The Outback trail is pretty cool, with lots of forks in the road with one being the easier path and one being the harder path.

A pretty decent trail system given the area. The Dark side loop can be difficult to navigate because it's not always clear which way to go, but if you don't mind exploring a little it pays off. It offers a nice challenge and will push the limits for newer riders. If you ride all the loops it's just under 7 miles. The newly redesigned roller coaster hill is a blast! Ride safe, guys!
