A lovely trail that starts out between two corn fields and goes into a mixed old growth/newer growth forest. Large tall trees, smaller thinner trees and some impressive downed trees on this looping trail. A Short and Long loop option available.
It was a chilly fall morning as we made our way to the Eunice Bryan Nature Preserve.
I wore my Vibram Five Fingers and they were wet by the time we reached the forest part of the trail. The trail starts out as a wide grassy path lined by small lines of forest between two cornfields.
Once you get into the forest area, it becomes ever so beautiful =) Old trees with large trunks reach for the sky, along with many smaller trees. Downed trees in various states of decay, many acorns and hickory nuts, and a lovely well-marked dirt trail await you =)
