Great hike through Eagle Creek Park, took my time to enjoy being outdoors...great scenery once you get near lake, but crazy busy w people hiking, finishing, etc. Trails through the woods were relatively dry considering the amount of rain a couple days before. Aside from the length, it was an easy hike...some stairs and hills but nothing too hard. Worth the couple of hours to see most the entire park. Wildlife seen...red headed woodpeckers, foxes

Good hike. Decent amount of elevation change for a city park.

Pretty trail, especially this time of year. Busy in some parts, but pretty impressive for a city park! A mix of gravel, dirt and pavement, no steep climbs.

I’ve always loved Eagle Creek. Took the dogs on just over 3 miles of the red trail today. Lots of people out but that’s expected in EC.

HikingGreat!

Really good trail for the Indianapolis area where long hiking trails are hard to come by. Primarily flat, with beautiful views of the water for a short period and mostly wooded for the rest of the trail. It's a small park, so you're always going to feel close to traffic and civilization, but if you're looking for a decent workout and nature without driving an hour plus to southern Indiana, this is it.

Very dog friendly trail, we kind of went off the path a time or two but it’s pretty easy to navigate especially with this app.

Hiking

i enjoyed the majority of the hike and thought that the trail was well marked. However, once I got to the north end of the trail things changed. In the "brush" area it was overgrown. After walking through that, it came to a T. the sign pointed straight or right. Obviously straight wasn't an option, so I went right. Right was just a giant loop, which is fine, but at no point did it indicate I was still on the trail. I also did not see a sign to connect to the trail to head back south. If it wasn't for the All-trails app, it would have taken a lot longer to find. Overall not a bad trail, but that small area put a sour taste in my mouth.
