First hike in awhile for the wife and me and this was the perfect trail for it. Nothing extreme but some elevation changes.

Nice hike. Took the kids 9 year old, 5 yr old and 2 year old in a pack. Challenging for the kiddos a little toward the end but overall very good.

Our family of 6 did this hike with the youngest being 3 years old. It was rugged and took us about an hour. Our 3 year old was carried for the last quarter of a mile. There were some interesting rock formations and changes in elevation with a glimpse of 14 mile creek. It definitely feels a bit secluded and all you could hear were the birds chirping in the woods.

Hiked July 1, 2018, with a 6 year old and a baby carrier. Tons of spider webs and not much rewarding scenery other than the bluff near Fourteen Mile Creek. The elevation changes near the creek provide a little bit of a challenge but more in terms of footwork and balance rather than endurance.

I brought my eight-year-old daughter and had a lovely hike. The trail was not too difficult but there were a couple of places that were a little bit slippery which is to be expected this time of year. Today is November 4,2017.

Nice, moderate trail with nice views of the creek and some impressive rock formations. It was dry when we visited, but we could see remnants of small waterfalls which encouraged us to come again in the rainy season. A nice fall hike!

i have hiked this trail many many times in both directions. there are great views of 14 mile creek. an awesome spring fed trough that existed pre park when a farm was located in the area, lots of wildflowers in the spring and some really cool sinkholes and several benches along the trail made from storm fallen trees.

This is a great place for an easy to moderate hike or two or three. There are 6 trails in the system of witch all are loops and less than three miles apiece. The trails might not be very challenging (200 feet elevation gain) to seasoned hikers but the scenery can take you aback. If you like river valley vistas, waterfall laden ravines and well marked trails dotted with archaeological sites then give it a walk. Download a map to carry with you. When I arrived the ranger station at the main gate was either closed for season or waiting on a better economy.

Hiked this trail today!! Rained this morning so alot of the trail was wet and slick in spots, we did the trail counter clockwise, thought it was a little easier that way. All in all I really enjoyed this trail, I will consider this trail again sometime!!!!!!

Campfesters' took these trails during the 8th Annual Campfest in 2009 and really enjoyed them! The park is still relatively new with a nice, modern campground, and the trails are the best thing to do there.

Nice, moderate hike with elevation changes, ridge top views of the Ohio and very few encounters with other hikers. Butterflies must have been migrating because a glen was full of beautiful golden-winged and black/blue-winged beauties. A well-hidden state park well worth the visit and hike. There's another easy trail that's worth the 30 minutes too.
