Cleared the spider webs. Takes two days for trail to dry nicely. Still avoiding last section trail two, too muddy.

It was pretty muddy today...but with the state on lockdown and schools closed, the boys needed to get outside. We had lots of fun, found some antlers, and plan on doing both #2&3 next time we go out instead of 1&2. Lots of little running springs and rain run off....if you bring a lifestraw, there's plenty of water this time of year.

pretty rugged but nice.

Did trail 2 and 3 for about 9 miles total. Trails are well marked and are fantastic for trail running. Nothing overtly scenic, just a solid trail in the woods.

Really well marked trail through the woods with a little elevation. Perfect way to spend a fall day. Some places were a little rocky- watch your step

not really nature. you're sandwiched between the golf course and the road so you hear both. also the trail is set for bikes more than hiking.

I must have accidentally deleted my review of this trail, so I'll try to retype it from memory as best I can. I had hiked Trail 2 back in May 2019, and liked it well enough to go back for a second helping on August 24, 2019. I decided to do both Trail 2 and Trail 3 upon arrival to the intersection of both trails. NOTE: There is NO independent access to Trail 3 -- you must hike a portion of Trail 2 to access Trail 3. (Imagine a figure 8, with each trail being one of the loops and the only starting point being at the very bottom of the "8". The trails are easily navigable, with trail markers indicating mileage completed being placed every quarter mile. There are lots of switchbacks and elevation changes, but nothing too difficult. There is one section that shows evidence of some sort of stone quarrying. It is a nice, scenic hike. I only passed two hikers, but did see seven people on mountain bikes. They were all very courteous as I stepped aside to yield the right of way to them. I encountered no bikers on my previous hike of the trail. I saw six deer, with two of them being a doe and a spotted fawn that stood less than 20 yards off the trail completely at ease and unfrightened by my presence.

I really like this trail. Nice changes in scenery and elevation. It’s on the easier side of moderate. Wish I had time to branch off and take trail 3. It looked fun. All the creeks are dry right now, so there aren’t any waterfalls.

Great trail with an interesting diversity of topography for southern indiana. Enough hills and turns to feel like a moderate hike or workout, and interesting mix of pine forest, rocky outcrops, and small streams. A few places even had a brief opening in the otherwise very forested canopy (to let the sunshine in). In the height of summer parts of trail with more standing water are mosquito heavy, but keep going they are not bad all the way. I did trail 2, and will be back again! **)Bonus! I found geocached treasure and left some. Also, a piece of awesome history here, you can see where the previous pluto water mineral springs were cemented over to disallow taking of the waters **

Great for dogs. Recently rained and trail muddy, so my dog got pretty dirty. Totally worth it since he had such a good time. Nice wildlife.

Great trail. Did 2 to 3, back to 2. Amazing water falls and rock outcrops. Muddy in places but all part of the fun. True Indiana hiking hidden gem. Easily one of the best trails I've hiked in Indiana.

Very well-marked trail. Went out on a spring day and crossed several very small streams. Nice views while the trees are still bare. Slightly muddy as expected this time of year. Beautiful area.
