Well maintained crushed limestone trail. Not the greatest scenery but you do ride by the Midewin Prairie. I would recommend bike riding but you can also take the trail on horseback or on foot. Goes from Interstate 80 to the Kankakee River.

pretty easy trail to bike on. compacted limestone so not too bad even on a street bike. At one point cuts through a farmers field..Haven't done that since I was a kid. No real elevation changes.

This is a nice packed limestone and dirt trail thru farm and prarie. A very nice ride in the fall when it isn't windy. You can take it all the way south to the Kankakee state park if you want.
