Very beautiful scenery & lots of wildlife. Trails are very well maintained.

Great with the kids. Flat easy walk with great viewings of wildlife. Bring your bike and ride the bike trail behind the watershed. Also has basketball and playground near for kiddos.

Explored this area with my camera on a warm winter day. Eager to see its beauty during spring bloom. Connects to a MCT bike trail that crosses a majestic old railroad bridge that crosses active RR tracks. Gives a Stand By Me vibe back there. The trail around the watershed gives ample opportunity to see wildlife. Even caught a glimpse of a possible marten crossing the trail ahead of me.

This is definitely a site for some easy walking. It's a great place for observing wild life, or if you're looking for a quiet spot to rest or read. Not so much for "hiking."

Watershed is a local favorite of mine. It's not long. Half of the trail is grass. The other half is paved and features a cement "boardwalk" through a marsh. I generally see some type of wildlife - ducks, geese, herons, egrets, deer, muskrats, otters. There is a nature center with activities for kids and educational areas.
