Skokie Valley Bikeway is a 9.6 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Lake Bluff, Illinois and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and road biking and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

My family and I ride this trail often and have been for many years. It is very scenic and offers a lot of shade through the forest preserve if you go on a hot day. You do have to cross several streets, but overall, not too bad.
